I received the following email from a reader based in New York, USA. He asked to remain anonymous, but his initials are A.K.

Thanks for solving this puzzle once and for all - unless anyone has another theory.

I was also very curious as to the identity of Mr.
Ingmark.  I scoured the Internet, trying to see where
I might purchase a book of this witty gambling poetry.

While searching, I found your website dedicated to
Ingmark, and after finding no other source, I accepted
your theory - that the name is a pen name for Alan
Krigman.  But what does the psuedonym mean?

My discovery - it's an anagram.  Mixed around, the
letters in Sumner A Ingmark spell out - Surname
Krigman
